Who we are

Cablevision Zambia is an ICT infrastructure and services provider with national operations supporting government ministries, agencies and departments, as well as commercial and industrial clients. Our core focus is the design, supply, installation and maintenance of network infrastructure, with specialisation in fibre-optic backbone deployments and SD WAN solutions.

We combine skilled field engineering teams for civil, fibre splicing and structured cabling works with an in-house Network Operations Centre for remote monitoring — delivering projects from initial site survey through to long-term managed service agreements.

Capabilities & technical strengths

  • Proven fibre-optic installation capability including OTDR testing, end-to-end certification and fibre route documentation.
  • SD WAN expertise covering vendor platforms (e.g. Cisco Viptela/ISE, VeloCloud, Fortinet, Versa) with policy-based routing, application-aware routing and centralized management.
  • Experience implementing QoS, traffic steering and secure overlay tunnels to prioritise real-time traffic (voice, video conferencing, CCTV) across mixed transport links.
  • Ability to integrate SD WAN with existing MPLS and internet circuits, and to implement hybrid WAN models for cost optimization and resilience.
